Financial Information Systems is administered by a group of I.T. professionals working in the banking and finance sectors in Geneva and Zurich. We are currently 7 contributors and 4 hecklers who come to our squash tournaments but don’t write much yet. The material on this site is therefore strongly oriented toward I.T. systems and analytical tools being used or being considered for us in Swiss financial institutions, trading companies, and financial services enterprises.
We actively encourage commentary and participation from our readership. By joining the site you can respond to articles with commentary. If you want to be upgraded to ‘contributor’ in order to write articles as well as responding with commentary, just send us a note at info@financial-information-systems.com, tell us a bit about yourself, and we’ll upgrade your account rights to allow you to author articles. You should be based in Switzerland or otherwise be working elsewhere for a Swiss-based company.
Our Squash tournaments are every Thursday evening in Geneva, and every Wednesday evening in Zurich. Everyone is welcome.
